The "Ulmer City Marketing GmbH" invites around for the forth time to the XXL Minster Day. On Friday, the 26th March 2010, all shops in the city centre are open until 10.00 p.m. and a lot of events can be experienced. The whole day is dedicated to the preservation of the Ulm Minster.
The calendar of events in Ulm/Neu-Ulm in 2010 is as full as ever. Among some of the interesting events taking place will be the extraordinary Orchid Days in Neu-Ulm, the German Championships in Aerobic, the remarkable 43th Federal Trombone Day and the International Danube Festival, which takes place every two years.

Emission stickers - Low emissions zones in Ulm and Neu-Ulm
To improve the quality of life and the environment, Ulm has and Neu-Ulm is about to implement new Low Emission Zones into which only vehicles displaying an “Emission sticker” (Umwelt Plakette) are allowed to enter. Vehicles entering a Green Zone and not obtaining a sticker are likely to be fined 40 €. The sticker costs between 5-10 € and can be obtained through the following link.
