Town House (Stadthaus)
Since 1993, the “Town House” has stood in strong architectural contrast to the late gothic style of the Ulm Minster. Designed by the world-renowned architect, Richard Meier, it provides a forum for the citizens.
Concerts, exhibitions, product presentations and discussion forums are witness to the manifold use of the building, which was conceived as a large, walkable, sculpture. The “Town House” creates exciting contrasts to the Minster, as the views from the roof terraces prove.
In addition to the cultural programme, the “Town House” acts predominantly as a meeting place for the citizens of Ulm and their guests and as a centre of communication.
The “Town House” also houses the Ulm/Neu-Ulm Tourist Information Office. Here, a competent team provides information and assistance on any questions and concerns the tourist may have.
