Valentine Chapel (Valentinskapelle)

The Valentine Chapel to the South of the Minster Choir was founded in 1458 by the patrician family Rembold as a burial chapel, whereby a wine cellar (1290) from Cloister Bebenhausen was used as a vault.

After the reformation, fat was sold in the chapel, resulting in it being called locally the “Schmalzhäusle”.
