The suburb of Söflingen lies to the West of Ulm and even today, its inhabitants maintain their individuality with great zeal.
The heart of Söflingen is the Cloister. Unfortunately, the cloister itself was demolished in 1818; however, the rectory and the former confessionary are still there. The buildings around the cloister courtyard, the former brewery and the old cloister mill are also in the baroque style.
Apropos cloister mill: This houses a museum showing the historical development of Söflingen and also a model of the cloister.
