A visit to Ulm Museum, founded in 1924, offers a wide range of exhibitions to suite many tastes.

The archaeological collection has exhibits from primeval to early history of the Ulm region, including the lion-headed figurine, which is ca. 30,000 old and one of the world’s oldest man/beast sculptures.

A significant collection of art and art handicraft from Ulm and Upper Swabia includes outstanding sculptures from Ulm´s early gothic period. The sections “Town History” and “Crafts and Guild” give a detailed insight into the wealth of the free imperial city of Ulm.

The Kurt Fried Collection contains important European and American works of art from the post-1945 period.
